Wow, it's Saturday already! Actually, it seemed like it would never get here soon enough. Yes, I'm stealing some time to myself for a few minutes anyway to begin what I said that I was going to do....blog about parenting. It's sort of a scary proposition really. I am by no means an expert...my son is 4 years old and a handful. I'm doing the best I can and consider myself lucky because this is a 2 parent household.
My hopes of this blog is to help other parents and get suggestions on raising a son who does outstanding things in the world. I want him to be a good person and raise him to be a person that I admire and in the meantime still be a person that I like (a work in progress), stay married and progress in my career.
Maybe I'm asking too much.
It's time to go for soccer for now and I have a "to do list" of activities in my bag that are family friendly and hopefully fun and educational. A few months ago, my husband charged me with the task after coming from Disney World to do some fun, entertaining and educational things. I thought, "how can I compete with Disney" but I'm finding there are some really cool things to do.
